GOLFZON launched its proprietary golf course application ‘Golfwith:Smart Caddie’ and ‘Golfwith:Golf GPS’ globally. Embedded with data of over 60,000 golf courses that represent 90% of courses across the world, including Korea and the United States, like ‘Smart Caddie’, ‘Golf GPS’ provides a variety of functions, such as measurement of distance to full range of courses and obstructions, calculation of shot tracking and driving distance, targeting holes based on shot history, and high-resolution map image of holes.
Having been developed by GOLFZON for over two years, ‘Golfwith’ brand includes two applications, ‘Golfwith:Smart Caddie’ and ‘Golfwith:Golf GPS’, to be offered over different channels.
As an application designed to be implemented in Samsung Electronics’ smartwatches, Gear S2 and S3, ‘Golfwith:Smart Caddie’ provides all contents and functions needed for fully enjoying field golf by global golfers, including information on distance to the point at front, center and back of the green, automatic recognition of the hole based on present location, simple score input function, and automatic connection with GOLFZON score card service, as it contains data of over 60,000 golf courses that represent 90% of courses across the world, including Korea and the United States.
‘Smart Caddie’ was demonstrated at the launch event of smartwatch Samsung Gear S3 held in August 2016 in Berlin, receiving favorable uation from the audience.
‘Golfwith: Golf GPS’ enables golf players to identify map image of each hole and information on distance on the golf course based on present location, using Android smart phones. Embedded with data of over 60,000 golf courses that represent 90% of courses across the world, including Korea and the United States, like ‘Smart Caddie’, ‘Golf GPS’ provides a variety of functions, such as measurement of distance to full range of courses and obstructions, calculation of shot tracking and driving distance, targeting holes based on shot history, and high-resolution map image of holes.
